This notice explains how District Times, published by Atlas Media Network, LLC (“we”), handles information about visitors to districtimes.com.

What we do not collect

• We do not use contact forms, newsletter sign-up forms, comment systems or user accounts for readers.
• We do not use advertising, analytics or tracking cookies, and we do not sell or share personal information.
• We do not embed third-party social media widgets, video players or advertising scripts. Fonts and images are served from our own website. Some photographs are freely licensed images from Wikimedia Commons; our hosting provider retrieves and caches them, so your browser does not connect to Wikimedia.

Information processed by our hosting provider

Our website is hosted by Netlify, Inc. When you visit any website, your browser sends technical information such as your IP address, browser type and the page requested. Netlify processes this information to deliver the site and keep it secure, under its own privacy policy. We do not use this information to identify individual readers.

Email

If you write to us, we receive your email address and whatever you choose to include in your message. We use it only to respond to you and to handle your request, and we keep it only as long as needed for that purpose or as required by law.

Links to other websites

Our articles link to sources and official websites. Those websites have their own privacy practices, which this notice does not cover.

Newsroom tools

The editing panel of this site is used only by District Times staff, who sign in with their own accounts. Readers are never asked to sign in.
